Set on a long, narrow urban site, this contemporary home creates a series of spaces tailored for different times of day, week, and year. A screened timber pod defines the street frontage, standing in bold contrast to the surrounding villas, bungalows, and brick houses of the city fringe.

The façade is wrapped in vertical cedar battens, giving the home a distinctive character while providing privacy and solar shading without blocking the outlook. Inside, open-plan interiors are carefully planned to maximise light, with windows positioned to bring natural brightness deep into the home and create a sense of spaciousness within a compact footprint.
