Positioned in Strandon, one of New Plymouth’s most established and sought after coastal neighbourhoods, this substantial 290 m² home occupies a prominent setting worthy of restoration. Built in 2001, the property had been impacted by water ingress, with damage extending beyond the exterior into parts of the underlying structure.

Clelands was engaged to undertake a comprehensive renewal of the home. The project involved a complete reclad, full roof replacement and repitch, and new aluminium joinery throughout. As the existing exterior was removed, significant structural repairs were undertaken to address historic water damage and reinstate the integrity of the building.

The result is a transformation that extends well beyond the exterior. With the underlying issues comprehensively addressed and the building envelope renewed, this prominent Strandon home has been given a new lease on life, delivering greater resilience, lasting quality and confidence for the years ahead.
