Clelands Timber
This purpose-built facility was custom designed to house Clelands Timber’s Weinig moulders, providing the space and functionality needed for precision timber processing. Every aspect of the building was tailored for efficiency, durability, and performance in a demanding industrial environment.
The project was one of the first in New Zealand to incorporate Coresteel’s innovative Vertebeam structural system. This system allowed for wide, clear spans and design flexibility, ensuring the facility could meet operational requirements without compromise. The result is a modern, fit-for-purpose building that reflects both innovation and craftsmanship.
Coresteel provided a structural solution that was economical but had more guts to it than the alternatives we investigated. The completed building exceeded our expectations.
