At Clelands Construction, our people are the heart of our business.
By directly employing our own qualified tradespeople and apprentices, we’re able to maintain consistently high standards across quality, safety, and delivery. Supporting our on-site teams is a skilled group of construction management professionals, including experienced quantity surveyors, project managers, and a dedicated full-time health and safety specialist.
We’re committed to the future of our industry. Training and upskilling are part of our everyday culture, supported through both external development and on-the-job learning. We take pride in mentoring the next generation through a robust apprenticeship programme and actively support a wide range of charitable organisations and community groups.
Clelands is deeply invested in the wellbeing of our industry, our people, and our region. We are proud to maintain the Tōtika Prequalification standard for health and safety, and we lead by example in our field. We are also a founding member and sponsor of Building Wellness Taranaki, a charitable trust dedicated to improving mental health and wellbeing outcomes across the construction sector.
